The behavior of the prodigal son

Recently I have read the parable of the prodigal son and I saw something special I wasn’t aware so far and in detail.

Luke 15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.”

Isn’t it written in the book Hosea,chapter 2, that the things we have received from our Father we have taken for our own pleasure?

Verse 8: ” For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal”

All the goods in that foreign country gave him not the real food he needed and it was when he had nothing  he became aware of his behaviour and acts.

Vers 17 of Luke 15: “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.”

He came to himself…

He didn’t look around to teach others he had receive the truth in a behaviour of thinking he knows more than others, especially our brother Juda…

He was aware of his own behaviour to his Father…And this awareness was more than enough to have and to realise who he was!

And this he was thinking and experiencing he was:

“ I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee”

The younger son knew because of YHVH’s law what punishment was right for him to undergo and he was complete ready to receive this punishment.He was prepared to confess the Father his sin and he was ready to accept the humble position not to be a son anymore than a servant…

“And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.”

The younger son was serious about that. He was aware and thinking to arise and go tho his father. He wasn’t thinking to go to his older brother. His conflict was with the head of the family, his father.

“And he arose, and came to his father.”

He went..With this act he took the first step to repent in a very humble behavior.

I suppose he didn’t expect what we read in the following words:

“But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him”.

The younger one was not thinking “oh my father is kissing me and hug me…I will say nothing” He was not going to his father to earn Father’s love and acceptation.

His awareness, this preparation inside the son, came from the Ruach haKodesh, made him pure:

“And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son”.

His father have loved his son always and he was so glad. Beside that or can I say because of that never ending love and promises, the behaviour of the younger son  became pure.

This son was renewed in his whole being.And still it was the dialogue between only the father and the young one.

Who was telling about this great news to the older son?

Was it the younger one?

First it was a servant and you can see the result, because a servant don’t have the authority of the Father…

25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in:”

“therefore came his father out, and intreated him”

At that very moment the Father came out was sharing the news to the older son. He was the right person, as  head of the household to tell the older son what has happened. The authority of the father was needed to give the older son to understand it was because the father, his father allowed the younger one to be his son.

“And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.”

As soon as thy son was come… The older one didnt accept the younger as his brother, because he has seen the process and felt himself more righteous and maybe also jealous…

And the father, knowing his never ending love for his older son as well, shared with him what he experienced as a father in his authority:

“And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.”

While the older son said to his father  : “thy son” the father was saying to him: ” for this, thy brother…” The father had given the younger son the position of son and  in his position and love for both, the father told the older one what position the younger already has received. In the house of the father there was no difference. A son is a son. Even with different talents and gifts. What a special revelation!

It seems that during the feast the two brothers came together and reunited as brothers..

In Scripures YHVH has given authority to the father in a household, like He has in the household of His people. Like a shepherd has with a flock.

In this parable we receive knowledge of wisdom and understanding from above.

Let us be aware of this great lesson!

Baruch ata YHVH!

Dedication more than agreement

Why can people, especially believers, be so united in one accord and then suddenly there is a message, an experience and the understanding of family/mispocha is disapeared. In the situation I have experienced a process of biblical act was not practiced so far. Can that be a fruit of the Ruach HaKodesh?

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.

Why not going to a brother, a sister and ask from firsthand what whas happen instead of listen to a third person and conclude without hearing the first person with open heart like before?

Matt 18:15  Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Me myself take the Word of YHVH serious in this. When people dont’t practice that advice Scriptures gives and don’t share the process with all the ones who were with them in the very beginning, I can only conclude there is something wrong. Because the words of Galatians 5:22 gives us a clear explanation of the fruit…

This subject reminds me also to Matth 13:3

“And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
Which way can we go when we have made devision and have listen to third persons?

We need to do the biblical way of repentance, otherwise we can’t come in and follow our way with them we first were negative to. Otherwise we will not be one again like before.

1 Cor. 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

The love of the Father is not incidential, it is dedication. He have made a promise and He don’t change. When Yeshua commands in Joh.15 He give instructions of dedication, because He dedicated Himself to His dearones.
Joh 15: 2 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Can we conclude that when we want to love like John 15 gives, we need to dedicate ourselves to our dearones, our mispocha?

If so then we can trust we will continue in a precious relationship with YHVH ánd our dearones.

May it be so!

So that the world can see Who’s Father we serve.

Connecting four corners because of His blessing

Since I received more light about Ezekiel 37 and other references in Scriptures, I was led mostly to my english-speaking mispocha in the world to write and share with them.

Over the years we were blessed with longterm and more than friendly contacts.

One result was a journey to Canada and Alaska to visit friends who are practising Yeshua’s Torah. For ourself we are not common to do such things, but it was such a blessed experience.

And this was just the beginning…

Last year we went to the first Congres of Bney Yosef National what took place at Ariel.Such a tremendous joy and shalom there was and not because of the  people who all practice the same calendar, speaking the Name with the same pronounciation or more.

No, the ttremendous joy and such an overwhelming shalom came direct from Father’s heart.

Before this experience we had preparations. Ephraim and Rimona Frank wrote blessed emails to help us with advise how to unite ourselves with our differences.YHVH had blessed these written advises.Four facts we had and have in common: Confessing Yeshua, Practising written Torah, Love to the land (Israel) and love to the people.

We came as individuals and we went as individuals with the experience of a whole new mispocha. The Congres itself is not an organization or new denomination, so we went back to work out what we experienced. A European group and a North American group were created spontaniously.

We both have worked things out.We are not a duplicate of eachother, we are different in different countries, but with the same four facts in common.

There are more initiatives. It seems the word Ephraimites seems to become a hype and when you look carefully you can discover differences with the focus more or less on something.

For me personally it is very important not to loose the central fact in my life: Yeshua Who was, is and shall come again. Yeshua Who is YHVH in the flesh, Yeshua Who’s Name is YHVH Who saves.He came for the lost tribes of Israel first.

It is not necessary to come under a halacha of a human being and loose my faith in Yeshua to enter the land, Ha Aretz. So while I live and work I wait upon my Father for the best result.

YHVH Who saves will create a path to enter His land at His time.Before that we are allow to work in His vineyard. As a Father He knows the best for His children.

Let us ask Him to hear His voice and how He prefer we will be to everyone we meet, continueing the path He shows us.

Recently we have had an European meeting of BY in the Netherlands and we have experienced such a deep shalom with all of the participants and some came also from Israel and US/Canada. We could share with open hearts and minds to eachother and again YHVH have blessed this meeting.

This year second Congres Bney Yosef National will take place, YHVH willing.

1Cor.1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Yeshua HaMasshiach, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Misschien hebben ons teveel gefocust, dat het nog moet komen…

Recentelijk waren Ephraim en Rimona Frank in ons land en spraken ze op een avond in de buurt van Gorinchem over de Levende Torah en leven door de Geest.

We maakten wat notities…

Yeshua is het Levende Woord en de Geest van Torah…
Torah is geestelijk…wet is hier Torah en geen wet
Rom.7: 14
Wat ontvangen we als Israël van het Woord
Rom 9: 4 lijst van
Torah kan niet gescheiden worden van het verbond
Hand 3 : 25
Niet alleen Shema maar praktiserend volgen is de liefde voor Elohim met alles wat in je is..dan kan
In het natuurlijke is het haast onmogelijk om te houden
Wij krijgen de Ruach en in Zijn kracht kunnen we het doen
Ezechiel 11: 19,20
Zonder torah geen natie
Leven van de geredde gemeenschap
Velen die dit gaan volgen en uit de kerk komen en er zijn er die veel langer eruit zijn en die gaan ontmoeten…wat vinden ze?
Vinden ze eenheid..De liefde van de torah..of komen ze onder een oordeel van mensen?
Wat bieden wij hen als ouderen in het geloof?
Liefde van Yeshua en liefde tot de naasten
Wat ziet Yudah als ze ons zien?
Yudah zegt dat het Nieuwe verbond er nog niet is en we zijn et ook niet omdat we ons nog net zo gedragen als in de kerk …we maken hen niet jaloers.
Het meeste belangrijkste handeling is bekering!
De enige weg om de Torah te doen is met de Ruach!

Bney Yosef is moving on

Shalom,

Since the first Congress Bney Yosef National we are not the same anymore like before.
Time for waiting is over, we can work in the vineyard in a way we never had expect.
All our talents are needed and when we want to dedicate to our Redeemer Yeshua (YHVH Who saves) He will send us out to do in the way we are able to act.
One big point is love, the ahava straight from Father’s heart, what open closed doors and reach out to people with many differences.
When we step in that ahava, His wisdom, knowledge and special understanding are following in all the activities we act.
His supernatural love is such a healing and refreshing to all people with a hungry heart for unity.

The words from Ezekiel 37 where is written that YHVH will make us one in the land are really a blessing.
In the land of our forefathers He will make us one as one nation, not before.
That makes us humble and full of love to all brothers and sisters who do have a love to Scriptures and dont see the full picture like us.

Recently we were at a conference of 119 ministries in the Netherlands and again we have experienced unity when we and others stepped in that special love and understanding of ABBA YHVH.

We dont need to change, we all have in common love to Scriptures, to Torah, to the land and to the Israelites.

Bney Yosef in een stadium van terugkeer en ont-moeten

Enkele wetenswaardigheden kruisten elkaar kortgeleden…waaronder de woorden uit de Corinthebrief:
1 Corinthe 1:10 Maar ik bid u, broeders, door den Naam van onzen Yeshua HaMasshiach, dat gij allen hetzelfde spreekt, en dat onder u geen scheuringen zijn, maar dat gij samengevoegd zijt in eenzelfden zin, en in een zelfde gevoelen.

En niet zomaar, omdat er tijdens het ontwaken in het huis van Yosef, meer komt kijken dan een voetstoots aannemen.
De veelkleurigheid gaat door een beproeving.
Vernieuwing komt van binnenuit en gaat niet buitenlangs.
Wat men in dat vernieuwingsproces soms over het hoofd ziet is de wijze waarop men in het leven is gaan staan.
Pijnlijk genoeg komen zelf aangemaakte grenzen boven en de onverwerkte gevoelens van moeilijke zaken spelen daarbij eveneens een rol en dan hebben we het nog niet over aannames van leringen en doctrines.
Er zijn er die stoppen met voortgaan en zich terugtrekken.
Vernieuwen is bij voorbaat meestal een pijnlijk proces.

Nu kreeg ik zeer recentelijk een prachtig handvat aangereikt die ik graag met u wil delen…
De feesten van YHVH zijn zowel jaarlijks als perioden die de gehele geschiedenis beslaan, zie de uitleg van de dagen, als YHVH zegt: “Een dag is als duizend jaar”… De manna oftewel scheppingsweek staat ook model voor de tijd dat de mensheid op aarde is… De periode welke voorzegd is in het Woord en een tijd van vrede heeft voor geheel Israel (Yosef en Yudah) is nog niet aangebroken.
De voorjaarsfeesten zijn vervuld, de najaarsfeesten nog niet…

Het handvat wat ik aangereikt kreeg, geeft houvast en duidelijkheid.
Wanneer we in een vernieuwende periode zitten, worden er vaak mensen erg teleurgesteld, omdat hun voorstellingsvermogen niet reflecteert met  wat zij in werkelijkheid ervaren.
En is die teleurstelling waarheidsgetrouw of gewoon een reactie van hun gevoelens?
Zelfonderzoek en achterhalen van feiten is van groot belang, dat zeker.

Het antwoord wat ik kreeg was zoveel meer, vond ik zelf.
De periode waarin mensen elkaar niet begrijpen terwijl zij menen allen oprecht te zijn en er toch scheidingen plaats gaan vinden, komt doordat men op grond van teleurstellingen over het hoofd ziet, dat we nog steeds in de zesde dag die ongeveer duizend jaar duurt, van de week zitten.
De shabbat van duizend jaar is nog niet aangebroken, laat staan de Shemini Atzeret.
Dat kunnen we weten omdat de twee huizen nog niet herenigd zijn, Yosef en Yudah niet schouder aan schouder broederlijk samenleven in het land van hun voorvaderen.
Men kan zeggen dat dat al een feit is, maar dan komt men in conflict met de woorden waarin geschreven is dat Yeshua alleen tot de verloren schapen van het huis Israels zou komen en Yudah had geen scheidsbrief meegekregen…

Shemini Atzeret is de achtste dag direct na de Sukkot.
Sukkot is nog onvervuld, omdat de Man, de Mashiach nog niet is gekomen voor Zijn voltallige Bruid,
omdat zij nog niet herenigd is…

Dit alles overdenkende zien we dat we voorzichtig de stenen uit de weg mogen ruimen en de goede boodschap delen..
En voor zover mogelijk vriendelijk zijn naar alle mensen, ook al kiezen er mensen niet meer mee te gaan.

Onze overeenkomst is Yeshua, die alleen tot de verloren schapen van het huis Israels kwam, YHVH’s instructies, liefde tot het land en tot het volk.

Door dit beproevend proces heen zullen we de weiden waarvan Psalm 23 getuigt, bereiken…
“1 Een psalm van David. YHVH is mijn Herder, mij zal niets ontbreken.
2 Hij doet mij nederliggen in grazige weiden; Hij voert mij zachtjes aan zeer stille wateren.
3 Hij verkwikt mijn ziel; Hij leidt mij in het spoor der gerechtigheid, om Zijns Naams wil.
4 Al ging ik ook in een dal der schaduw des doods, ik zou geen kwaad vrezen, want Gij zijt met mij; Uw stok en Uw staf, die vertroosten mij.
5 Gij richt de tafel toe voor mijn aangezicht, tegenover mijn tegenpartijders; Gij maakt mijn hoofd vet met olie, mijn beker is overvloeiende.
6 Immers zullen mij het goede en de weldadigheid volgen al de dagen mijns levens; en ik zal in het huis des YHVH’s blijven in lengte van dagen.”

Psalm 126:6 “Die het zaad draagt, dat men zaaien zal, gaat al gaande en wenende; maar voorzeker zal hij met gejuich wederkomen, dragende zijn schoven.”

Shalom de vredestichters…

Nadenkende over een aantal zaken die afgelopen tijd voorbijkwamen,vroegen om woorden die ik met u delen wil.
Overal waar men het begrip “eenheid” naar voren brengt in de zin van vredig samen kunnen zijn, is er een hunkering te bespeuren, maar als het dan op daden aankomt, blijft het veelal steken bij de “maren”.
Sinds jaren weet ik dat ik mag delen over het prachtige hoofdstuk uit Ezechiël 37, waar we over het naderen van twee verschillende “huizen” geïnformeerd worden.
Zolang naar verlangd en nu op deze tijd gekomen worden er schansen opgeworpen die voortgang dreigen te belemmeren.
Over die schansen wil ik het niet hebben, wel over het slechten van gedachten die tot schansen leiden.

Shalom de vredestichters…om vrede te brengen moet dat in het hart van de personen door YHVH Zelf zijn uitgestort en dezen gevormd zijn in het leven om niet bij het minste of geringste om te waaien…

Zo kreeg ik vanmorgen een brief onder handen die specifiek dit fenomeen aanhaalt:

De geschiedenis bewijst dat YHVH begon met het vervullen van de profetie door Yuda te hebben verzameld en ze naar hun land te brengen. Maar nu hoe zit het met de tweede natie? Zacharia hoofdstuk 10 vertelt over de dagen toen Yuda terug in het land zou zijn, en ook dat YHVH Yosef (v. 6) zou redden en vervolgens hen te verzamelen de andere stok / volk in de hand van de profeet te worden. “Ik zal fluiten voor hen en ze vergaderen, want Ik zal ze verlossen; en zij zullen toenemen zoals ze eens toegenomen waren”(Zacharia 10: 8)
Volgens de bovenstaand Schriftaanhaling is het eerste stadium voor het huis van Jozef / Efraïm was / om gered te worden. Ik denk dat dat “verlost” betekent en moet worden hersteld naar hun oorspronkelijke identiteit als de zonen van Israël, een fenomeen wat het versnellen van de tijd sinds de historische oude stad van Jeruzalem terug kwam in de handen van het volk van Juda in 1967. Vervolgens YHVH zegt dat hij hen ( verwijzend naar de verdorde botten)verzamelen (kuf-vet-tzadi)zal met het werkwoord “kavetz”, die wordt gezien, bijvoorbeeld in 1 Kings 20: 1 als “verzamelen , vergaderen of krachten bundelen (zoals de dorre beenderen in Ezechiël 37:10). Gebruikmakend van hetzelfde werkwoord, geeft Jesaja 60: 4: “Hef uw ogen op rondom, en zie, zij allen komen samen , ze komen naar u, uw zonen zullen van verre komen, en uw dochters zullen worden verzorgd (gevoedsterd) aan uw zijde”.
.Als de verlosten leden van het huis van Jozef om in de hand van de profeet een natie te worden, zullen ze moeten eerst en vooral worden vergaderd tot Yeshua, hun Verlosser. Yeshua zal hen dan verenigen ze door de eenheid van Zijn inwonende Geest en uiteindelijk in familie gemeenschappen stellen:”Elohim stelt de eenzame in gezinnen … en maakt de huisgezinnen als kudden” (Psalm 68: 6a; 107: 41b), en ik zou eraan kunnen toevoegen “met doorgewinterd volwassen erkend leiderschap / oudsten (zie Jeremia 23: 4 “En Ik zal herderen over hen verwekken, die ze weiden zullen; en zij zullen niet meer vrezen, noch verschrikt worden, noch gemist worden, spreekt YHVH.)
Deze eenheid is niet overeenstemmig naar buiten met religieuze symbolen en praktijken, maar is gebaseerd op het bewijs van het leven van Elohims Zoon. ‘En omdat u zonen bent, Elohim heeft de Geest van Zijn Zoon uitgezonden in uw harten, die roept: Abba, Vader!‘ “(Galaten 4: 6).

Woorden die mij bijblijven zijn dezen uit Joh 15:12 “Dit is Mijn gebod, dat gij elkander liefhebt, gelijkerwijs Ik u liefgehad heb”.

Een positief verslag van een pionier

Ephraim Frank, net terug van een negen weken durende trip, schreef een verslag van hun ervaringen, die hij samen met zijn vrouw Rimona, beleefde…

Een stukje daar uit:

“On the 4th we jointed hundreds of Ephraimites at the B’ney Yosef North American summit in St Petersburg, which was like a family reunion. YHVH’s presence and anointing upon those 3 days were electrifying. What was especially precious was meeting Batya Wooten, with her wonderful sense of humor that she has been maintaining in spite of several years of no minor difficulties. We also were very impressed by the choice of elders for BYNA, as well as by those on the executive board, all of whom have taken up the task of organizing and moving forward with the vision of the reconstitution of our national aspirations”. …

Tatte Tatte… I believe, even when Elohim is silent

De laatste week heb ik terugkerende woorden in mn hoofd en heb deze in een lied gevonden.

Ben dat gaan opzoeken en wat me daarin trof waren verschillende aspecten waaronder deze woorden:

I believe in the sun even when it is not shining

I believe in love even when I don’t feel it

I believe in Elohim even when He is silent

Stil werd ik er van wanneer ik het lied beluister, elke keer opnieuw

Vanmorgen kwamen de woorden “leidt mij” en die vond ik in Psalm 23

3 Hij verkwikt mijn ziel; Hij leidt mij in het spoor der gerechtigheid, om Zijns Naams wil.
4 Al ging ik ook in een dal der schaduw des doods, ik zou geen kwaad vrezen, want Gij zijt met mij; Uw stok en Uw staf, die vertroosten mij.

Al ging ik ook in een dal der schaduw des doods….

Er is leed waarvoor geen woorden zijn

En Hij, onze Vader was ook daar

I believe in Elohim even when He is silent…

“Min de stilte in uw wezen

min de stilte die bezielt

zij die alle stilte vrezen

hebben nooit hun hart gelezen

hebben nooit geknield”
